Fencing Styles

We can install fences to your landscape architect’s or swimming pool installation company’s design specs — providing a wide variety of unique possibilities.

Aluminum Fence:

  • Description: Same look and feel as iron but with less cost and no maintenance. Wide variety of design possibilities including curvilinear forms. Common solution for swimming pools.
  • Maintenance: Maintenance-Free.
  • Color choices: Yes. Black is standard. Green, black, bronze sandstone and white are available at no additional cost. Color samples available upon request.
  • Gates: Less prone to sagging, good locking mechanisms, long-lasting.
  • Options (Will incur extra costs): True iron fences or exposed picket are available.
  • Cost: $$

Vinyl/PVC Fence:

    • Description: Long-lasting PVC fencing commonly used in place of wood. Common solution for privacy fencing, but also available as picket fencing, horse fencing, and pool fencing.
    • Maintenance: Maintenance-Free.
    • Color choices: Yes. White is standard. Gray, almond, and adobe are available at an additional cost. Color samples are available upon request.
    • Gates: Less prone to sagging, good locking mechanisms.
    • Options (Will incur extra costs): Now offering streaking and embossed patterns to give a similar wood grain look. Also available, lawn and garden supplies …(arbors, benches, flower boxes etc.) Ask for a brochure to see more items not listed.

Wood Fence:

  • Description: Pressure-treated southern yellow pine. 4 x 4 fence posts, 6 x 6 gate posts. 2 x 4 horizontals and 1 x 4 or 1 x 6 verticals depending on fence style. Common solution for privacy fencing, but also available as picket fencing.
  • Maintenance: Owner must stain and seal fence as needed to prolong the fence life. Fence has shorter life so replacement costs are higher over time.
  • Color choices: No.
  • Gates: All gates are framed cedar 2 x 4’s to keep the weight lighter and delay sagging.
  • Options (Will incur extra costs): Western Red Cedar is available upon request. Standard Stockade — a pre-fabricated panel —is also available upon request but the size of the horizontals and verticals is smaller than our standard sizes.

Split-Rail Fence:

  • Description: Pressure treated pine.
  • Maintenance: Fence has shorter life so replacement costs are higher over time. We do not stain or seal split-rail fencing.
  • Color choices: No.
  • Gates: Standard gate is picket-style with an arched cut at the top (show a photo). Split-rail gates are available upon request but there is no warranty due to their short life span.
  • Options: (Will incur extra costs) Locust hardwood is available upon request. Welded wire mesh is available.

Chain link Fence:

  • Description: Galvanized steel fencing. Common solution as a cost-effective fencing to define property in both residential and commercial settings.
  • Maintenance: Galvanized will eventually rust. Aluminized steel or vinyl-coated galvanized steel options are recommended due to little to no maintenance.
  • Color choices: Aluminized is an additional cost along with vinyl coated colors (standard colors are black, green, brown, white).
  • Gates: Gates are less prone to sag and more operative over the life of the fence.
  • Options: (Will incur extra costs) Aluminized steel, vinyl-coated galvanized steel, and barbed wire are available.
